Five Guys

Five Guys

Some 3D projects capture the Five Guys vibe in creative ways. Here are a few highlights that give the burger experience a playful twist.

Combideal Debut

For the launch of Five Guys’ first combi deal menu, I developed a video that highlighted the new offer and introduced it across their channels.

The process

The challenge was to make the food look both realistic and as tasty as possible. Playful in style, but never childish. I used Houdini to simulate the fries falling and the drink splashing, while every element was lit individually for maximum control and a cohesive overall look. The video also includes enough clear space for text, making it easy to adapt into multiple languages.

Stockholm Opening

For the first Five Guys opening in Scandinavia, they wanted to go big with a Fake Out of Home video, blending 3D and real footage to create something that wouldn’t be possible in real life. The theme? Their iconic brown bag of fries.

The process

Anyone who’s eaten at Five Guys knows the fries come overflowing in the bag, and the “right” way to eat them is by tearing it open. That idea became the concept for this video: using footage from the new Stockholm location and transforming the building above it into a giant brown bag.

Once the drone footage was captured, it was time to make the fries explode across the scene. The result was a massive hit on social media.

Milkshake annoucements

Five Guys launched three new milkshake flavors—Popcorn, Coffee, and Mango—and wanted playful 3D animations to grab attention. Working together, these animations capture the fun twist behind each flavor.

The process

After a brainstorming session with Five Guys, the concept was set, and production could begin. 3D lets you create what’s impossible in real life, and these animations lean into that. A floating cup immediately signals something surreal, drawing the viewer in and setting the stage for what’s next. This approach proved highly effective on social media.
